Because You Never Know

In July of 2000 I bumped into a friend in St. Vincent Hospital and realized we both had newborn sons on the same floor.

Saturday I bumped into the same friend at a backyard graduation party in another city and realized our sons had somehow met in college and become buddies.

Life has a way of slipping around and tapping you on the shoulder when you least expect it.
